Understanding Asylum and Deportation Defense

Many people flee their home countries to escape persecution. The U.S. offers asylum to individuals who face danger because of their race, religion, nationality, political views, or social group.

To apply for asylum, individuals must submit Form I-589 within one year of arriving in the U.S. They will go through background checks and an interview. If denied, they may appeal in court.

For those facing deportation, legal options exist. Some may qualify for cancellation of removal or other defenses. Having an experienced immigration lawyer can make a big difference in these cases.

At Encheva Law, we provide compassionate legal support for asylum seekers and those facing deportation. We work to protect your rights and help you stay in the U.S.
